With the food crisis resulting in dramatic price rices among basic commodities (wheat doubling in the past year, rice up 70%, ...) and sparking food riots in Haiti we’d like you to predict the price of rice in 3 months time. The rising price of oil, greater demand for meat and the push to convert food producing land to use for growing biofuel crops have all be implicated in causing the crisis. We’ll be using the UN FAO Rice Price Index and its combined index (‘All’) to decide this market.
