Earlier this month, US-led coalition forces in Afghanistan struck Taliban targets in Pakistan. This strike, it was said, was the result of a misunderstanding. The US command believed it had permission; the Pakistanis deny giving that permission.
The US maintains it will strike key Taliban and al-Qaeda targets on Pakistani soil should the opportunity present.
Despite the disagreement between allies, will it happen again before the end of September 2007?

Note on verification: This market will cash out early only if a military strike can be credibly verified. For purposes of this market, a “strike” will be any deliberate use of offensive military force against a defined target within Pakistan. “Credible” will amount to either admission of the US government or reports in two of the following: BBC, CNN, al-Jazeera, Rueters or AFP.
