As the saga continues Musharraf faces yet greater opposition and there is talk of power-sharing agreement-—possibly costing him either the Presidency or his chair as the country’s top general.
For the purpose of judging this market we’ll focus on the presidency: if Musharraf loses the presidency, we’ll consider his regime to have fallen, if he maintains it, in spite of all other compromises, we’ll consider him to have maintained his regime.
